Mission Statement
“As the mental health
provider for Harney County, Harney Behavioral Health will provide professional,
compassionate, and confidential services in a timely manner with the underlying
theme that our services will assist each client in achieving a level of mental
health that allows them to move toward the highest overall quality of life
possible.”
Harney Behavioral Health is a State of Oregon Licensed provider for outpatient Mental
Health, Chemical Dependency, and Prevention Services. In addition, Harney
Behavioral Health provides child placement services on behalf of Eastern
Oregon Human Services Consortium for 13 Eastern Oregon Counties. Harney
Behavioral Health is a division of Harney County, and therefore a
governmental non-profit organization.
Service delivery began in 1964 with two staff members and has grown to our
current staff of sixteen including one Director, two clinical supervisors, six
full time Therapists/Clinicians, one part time Therapist, one child placement
specialist, one Financial Manager, one receptionist, and one office support and
billing person.
All
information is confidential and protected by federal law. Payment for services available through Oregon Health Plan, private insurance,
and a sliding scale fee.
