The Harney County Health
Department has many programs to offer Harney County residents. These include:
- Immunizations – offered for children and adults every Tuesday from 9-11 am
and
1-4 pm
- Family Planning – women’s exams, STD checks, birth control, and pregnancy
tests
- Women-Infant-Children
(WIC) – A nutritional food program for income
eligible pregnant or breastfeeding
women, infants and children
- Babies
First/CaCoon – home visiting programs for moms
and babies
- Well Child Checkups
- HIV – testing and counseling
- Vital Records – Birth/Death records
- Communicable Diseases – testing and reporting
- Emergency
Preparedness
- TB Program
- Dental Health
- Environmental Quality Inspections
- Business Licenses for Restaurants and Hotels
- Tobacco Preventions & Education Program
- File a complaint against violations of the Indoor Clean Air Act
