County Landfills
Harney County has 6 landfills in the various areas of
the County. These sites provide a valuable service to the citizens of
Harney County in having a sanitary location for the removal of waste.
Landfills:
The following materials will not be accepted at the landfills:
-
tires, batteries, oil products, appliances, car bodies, dead animals,
hazardous waste, medical waste, antifreeze, explosives and hot or burning
materials.
The gates will
be locked at each of the locations during non-business hours.
